Upcoming St. Louis Java Gyms

Attention local business owners in St. Louis!!

Within the next few weeks, we have Java Gyms coming up on Local Search (getting your business listed on Google Maps), Business Blogging and Pay Per Click.

A Java Gym is a free, 1-hour program where you can learn about a specific Internet marketing strategy from a top local expert on that topic. It’s a relaxed setting (usually held at a local coffee shop) where you can ask questions and evaluate if the strategy is right for your business, get tips on how to do it yourself and get a good understanding of it so you can make smart hiring decisions if you want to have someone do it for you.

And Java Gyms are completely pitch-free. The experts hosting Java Gyms are there to share their expertise and answer your questions – they’re strictly forbidden from pitching their services!

Here are the details about the upcoming Java Gyms in St. Louis (space is limited to just 7 business owners for each Java Gym so be sure to sign up today!):

Welcome to the Main Street Marketing Community

Welcome to the Main Street Marketing Community!

MSMC was developed to provide local business owners who are overwhelmed or confused with online marketing with a trusted source where they can learn how to effectively use the Internet to attract new customers.

Our goal here is simple. It’s to provide you, the small to mid size local business owner, with proven tips and strategies for successfully using the Internet to generate leads and sales.

And we promise to deliver this information to you in PLAIN ENGLISH! (No techo-babble here.)

Whether you plan to tackle online marketing on your own or hire someone to help you do it, the Main Street Marketing Community will equip you with the knowledge you need to make informed decisions to generate leads and sales online (and leave your competition behind to pick up your scraps!).

It’s All About Community

The most important word in our name is “Community” and there are two key ways we seek to foster community here at the MSMC…

1. Java Gyms

Java Gyms are informal, relaxed, sales pitch free meetings where you can learn about a specific online marketing strategy from a local expert. They are usually held at a coffee shop, putting the “Java” in Java Gyms.

Right now, Java Gyms are being held in Hawaii and St. Louis, but will expand to other areas soon. Also, we will start holding “cyber” Java Gyms online which allow you to participate no matter where you‘re located.

Click here for more information about Java Gyms and, if you’re in Hawaii or St. Louis, please visit our calendar to get the details for upcoming Java Gyms in your area.

2. The Main Street Marketing Community website and forums

We created this website to be as interactive as possible. You can use the forums to ask questions to our MSMC online marketing experts or other local business owners who are here to help.

You can use the forums to share your challenges, frustrations and successes with others in the same boat as you.

You can also leave comments about the articles, videos and blog posts that interest you or spark a comment or question you’d like to share.

We founded the Main Street Marketing Community out of a genuine desire to help small local business owners succeed online. We’re here for you.

If you have questions about online marketing, comments about your experiences with the MSMC, suggestions for content you’d like to see on the site or other ways we can serve our community better, please contact any us at any time.

Oh, and if you haven’t registered yet (for free!), be sure to head over to our registration page now so you’ll be notified of events in your area. Also we’ll soon be adding a forum and premium content that will be available for free to our members.

Best regards-

Pay Per Click Advertising Java Gym in St. Louis on August 25

It’s the fastest way to drive highly qualified, highly motivated prospects to your website.

It’s also one of the most misunderstood forms of marketing online and it can cost you a small fortune (very quickly) IF you don’t know what you’re doing.

It’s pay per click advertising and you can learn all about it – for FREE – at the Main Street Marketing Community’s next Java Gym on Wednesday, August 25 at 4PM.

A Java Gym is a free, 60 minute informal meeting held by local experts at a coffee shop (putting the “Java” in Java Gym!). Each Java Gym focuses on one specific online marketing strategy that you can put to use for your business to generate traffic, leads and sales on the Internet.

At this Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising Java Gym you’ll learn:

  • What is PPC ( specifically Google AdWords) and how does it work?
  • The basics of setting up and running a successful local PPC campaign (and how Google will reward you for doing this the right way)
  • The most common mistakes people make when starting a PPC campaign (make them and it’ll cost you in more ways than you realize)
  • The most important part of an AdWords campaign (HINT: it has nothing to do with your AdWords account)
  • Anything else you want to know about AdWords (after your Java Gym instructor spends some time on the basics, you’re in control, so come with your most burning questions about Google AdWords and PPC!)

This event will be led by Adam Kreitman, co-founder of the Main Street Marketing Community and pay per click advertising expert. He will take you through the fundamentals of building a successful pay per click campaign and answer any PPC questions you have … whether you’ve never heard of PPC before or are already have it deployed in your online marketing arsenal.

This Java Gym will be held on Wednesday, August 11 at 4:00PM at the St. Louis Bread Co on the Loop in University City (6630 Delmar Rd).

Space is limited to just 7 people and registration is required to attend (we want to keep the Java Gyms small, informal meetings where everyone has a chance to be heard and ask questions).

Contact Adam at 314-329-1422 to reserve your spot today.
